In a world that’s constantly evolving, the thirst for knowledge and the spirit of exploration are qualities that we should hold dear. Our team, Shasthra Snehi, is on a mission to kindle this spirit in the hearts and minds of young learners through a series of engaging school outreach programs.
We are excited to share the success of our recent outreach event at GHSS Kazhakootam, where 111 enthusiastic students eagerly participated in a day filled with astronomical wonder. Held on August 5th, the event featured interactive talks on the Sun, solar activity, and ISRO’s mission, Aditya-L1.
The event started with interactive talks on the Sun, solar activity, and the celebrated mission of ISRO, Aditya-L1. The true magic unfolded when we revealed the telescope, offering students an up-close and personal view of the Sun. Witnessing sunspots and solar activity through the lens of a telescope is a memory that etches itself into young minds.
The following hands-on activity gave the students a fresh perspective of how we look at our parent star. The feedback given by both the students and the faculties of the school after the conclusion of the event was an incredible source of inspiration for the team.
