NASA Discovered A New Earth – Kepler-1649c

Search for extraterrestrial life would be the most interesting part of astronomy for Space lovers. This curious search is to find a new home or to find a new ally. Even a kid, for the first gonna sky you about this ? Alien buddies. This alien concept was a nightmare for me in my childhood, But Later this evolved as my desire to know extraterrestrial Intelligence. The same might have happened for the entire humanity, this desire then paved the way to many curious science mission. This curious hunt gave birth to many superhero telescopes and spacecraft and rovers.

Last few days we are witnessing a moment that many of our expired spacecraft and telescopes are coming back to news headlines. Voyager, Cassini-Huygens, Spitzer Space Telescope, Now a new veteran has been added to the list. Yeah, Our legendary hero, Kepler space telescope.

new Earth!!

Yesterday NASA has published an article, and that article is very special for each of us. Yeah, NASA has invented a new Earth

The unbelievably perfect one. It is Kepler space telescope behind this great observation.

A gift from Kepler to earth, after its death. A gift which kept behind the huge data. A true data hidden by the false data. Finally, a team of transatlantic scientists, while reanalyzing the data from NASA’s Kepler space telescope, retrieved this incredible data.

The news everyone wished to hear from Kepler when it was alive. Yeah, we found a new Earth far beyond our solar system-about 300 light-years?.

Kepler-1649c A new Earth

We did such observation before and found few such earth-sized exoplanets, But what makes this Earth so special??

Okay, I will tell you; This new earth is only 1.06 times larger than our earth and it is orbiting in its star’s habitable zone, the area around a star where a rocky planet could support liquid water. This planet receives almost the same amount of heat from its star as our Earth does. It receives 75% of the light that earth absorbs from the sun. meaning the exoplanet’s temperature may be similar to our planet’s.? The name given to this planet is Kepler-1649c. More specially, this planet is orbiting around a red dwarf. It’s a new knowledge for our scientists. There are many red dwarfs in our galaxies and in our universe, so this gives us a new clue for many potential lives around us.

An illustration of what Kepler-1649c could look like from its surface.

Why it is so special?!

It’s for the first time we are observing a planet which having qualities that are almost similar to earth. Even though we found TRAPPIST-1f and Teegarden c, Which are similar to earth in size, we couldn’t find earth’s temperature on them. But it was just opposite for the TRAPPIST-1d and TOI 700d which are having similarity in temperature but not in size.

If a 5-year-old boy reaches this planet, he will be 94 years old on that planet.? Yeah, a year on Kepler-1649c is equivalent to only 19.5 Earth days. This nearest and fast orbit is because of its host star. Yeah, the red dwarf.

The most interesting part of this planetary system is that it follows a totally strange nine-to -four ratio. That means  For every nine times the outer planet in the system orbits the host star, the inner planet orbits almost exactly four times. This is called orbital resonance. This special ratio reveals its stability. We were only familiar with three-to-two and two-to-one ratios. But we believe that there is a missing middle planet. But its never detected in the eyes of Kepler due to its orbital tilt or small size.

New Earth Kepler-1649c

Another similarity NASA found was that there is a rocky planet inside the orbit of Kepler-1649c and

It orbits the star at about half the distance of Kepler-1649c, similar to how Venus orbits our Sun at about half the distance that Earth does.

It would be a great loss for entire humanity if this data continues to be hidden inside the bundle of false data. Truth always triumphs, isn’t? Yeah, here, at last, our right document raised above the false. We can expect many such amazing inventions from many of our telescopes. Any way we can hope for the best and we can wait for many other possible lives.?

We can eagerly wait for the word “We are not Alone”
