We are excited to share our recent accomplishment as Shasthra Snehi hosted an Astronomy hands-on session for talented school students nationwide. This engaging event was an integral part of the “Advances in Space Sciences and Technology” workshop, popularly known as “Anvika” (Antariksh Vigyan Karyashala), organized by the esteemed Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST). The workshop took place from July 17 to 22, providing a platform for enthusiastic young learners to delve into the wonders of space sciences.
Our team had the privilege of interacting with 50 exceptional students carefully selected for this event. These students fell into two categories: those who demonstrated exceptional skills in the national Olympiad test and earned the opportunity for specialized training in subjects like Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry, and Mathematics through the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE -TIFR), Mumbai. The second group comprised individuals chosen by ISRO for the prestigious Yuvika program of 2023.
