We are excited to share the remarkable success of our recent one-day summer program on sun & Aditya L1, held on May 6, 2023. This workshop brought together 72 students, with 2 representatives from each school, for an immersive learning experience. This event was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Shasthra Snehi, ISRO, Kerala State Science and Technology Museum and AASTRO Kerala.
The heart of this event was the enthusiastic participation and engagement of our attendees, all thanks to the meticulously planned interactive ice-breaking sessions by both our team and the knowledgeable ISRO representatives. These sessions set the tone for a day filled with offline and online hands-on activities, sparking curiosity and igniting young minds.
A pivotal force behind the success of this workshop was the dedication of our 22 volunteers from Shasthra Snehi, whose coordination and commitment were truly commendable. In recognition of their efforts, we presented them with certificates of appreciation, certified by ISRO, KSSTM, and all our partner organizations. Their hard work and passion were evident throughout the event, making it an enriching experience for everyone involved.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our partners, especially Prof(Dr.) Anand Narayanan, who led the program from ISRO’s side. His expertise and guidance were invaluable, ensuring the workshop was not just informative but also inspiring. The event was indeed extraordinary, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
The workshop featured a diverse range of lively and interactive sessions facilitated by Shasthra Snehi, AASTRO Kerala, and ISRO representatives. Among the highlights were the engaging offline and online hands-on activities, including the innovative ‘Solar Odyssey’ computer-based sessions designed by Shasthra Snehi. These activities not only enhanced the participants’ understanding of the subject matter but also encouraged creativity and critical thinking.
